While rising to fame with one of the longest-running shows Pavitra Rishta as Manav opposite Ankita Lokhande aka Archana, Sushant Singh Rajput made millions of hearts beat faster with his charming smile. But before becoming a household name with Pavitra Rishta, Sushant made his acting debut with Ekta Kapoor’s TV show Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil. Though this serial wasn't as popular as Pavitra Rishta, it was SSR's debut on TV.
Now treating many SSR fans, Ekta Kapoor shared the first scene of Sushant from his debut TV show Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil. Sharing the clip, Ekta took us down the memory lane and captioned it, “Lots of people were asking me about Sushant’s first scene... this was the first scene we shot with him. This was his 1st scene on Television which went on-air in a show called ‘Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil’. He was the 2nd lead in that show, but we knew he was meant for greater things and he went and did just that. Lots of love, peace and prayers for this beautiful, beautiful piece of light and a shining soul.”
The video seems to be SSR’s introduction shot where he’s seen sleeping on the car bonnet. Like always his charming smile can’t be missed this time too. Sushant was the 2nd lead in the show, the lead character of the show was Harshad Chopra. Watch the video below:

Earlier, before SSR’s death, Ekta had taken to social media to reveal how she had convinced the makers of Pavitra Rishta to cast Sushant in the show. Ekta revealed as the makers were adamant to not cast Sushant as the leading actor, she had convinced them that his smile would win million hearts. It was on the sets of Pavitra Rishta when SSR fell for Ankita and they dated for almost 6 years before calling it quits.
