Now-Union Cabinet Minister, Smriti Irani aka Tulsi was once a household name and was loved by everyone in the country. Smriti Irani starred as Tulsi Virani in the Balaji Telefilms show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and has also featured in several other TV shows. As the former actress shares a close bond with Ekta Kapoor, the producer made an appreciation post for her BFF featuring the timeline of her accomplishments and journey. Ekta Kapoor shared an interesting video of Smriti Irani’s journey from winning the Femina Miss India 1998 to being a minister today.
Taking to her Instagram account, Ekta Kapoor shared the video and wrote, “Appreciation Post for my friend Smriti Irani who started off not winning Miss India but went on to become a household name.” The producer continued to mention that the video is for the people who think that success comes easy and explained how being successful is tough, hard and comes to all those who are hard-working.
Talking about Smriti Irani further, Ekta Kapoor wrote, “Smriti became a household name, today is a minister. Her whole persona has changed into a powerful yet humble politician. But when she started off, she was a meek, shy, simple girl who had walked into Balaji...and we knew her smile would win hearts.” Ekta Kapoor then continued to talk about the kind person Smriti Irani is and mentioned how she helped a colleague of hers immediately, even though the person hasn’t worked with her.
Meanwhile, Ekta Kapoor and Smriti Irani have been friends since they worked together on several Balaji telefilms projects and continue to share the same bond even now.
