Popular TV show Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, starring Sakshi Tanwar and Ram Kapoor, received an overwhelming response a decade ago. Now as the makers gear up for the second season of this show, as per reports, actor Nakuul Mehta has almost been finalised for the show. Popular actress Divyanka Tripathi was also approached to play the female lead. During an Instagram live, she admitted to having been approached for the role. She also said she had given a look test, but later turned down the offer, stating she could not relate to the character.
Now a report in Bollywoodlife.com says it was the makers who thought she wouldn't look her part. The report states, “Divyanka was approached for the show but post the look test they felt she looked much older than Nakul the male lead and thus decided against her.”
Divyanka had earlier said, “Yes, I was offered Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2 and I had even given a look test for the show. But I did not say yes to the show as I could not relate to the character. Whenever I take up any project I totally devote myself to it and it is like getting married to the role and if I am not convinced about the role, I will never do it. I couldn't feel like the character. Hence, I had to say no to Bade Acche Lagte Hain 2.”
Currently, the actress is winning hearts with her thrilling performance on stunt based TV reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.
