Television actors Riya Sharma and Krishna Bharadwaj, who essay the roles of Rajkumari Tarapriya Singh and Yuvraj Mahaveer Singh in the television serial Dhruv Tara - Samay Sadi Se Pare, have been diagnosed with dengue. While the show has been winning the hearts of the audience because of its unique plotline, fans were in for a shock when reports of the two actors being ill started doing rounds on social media.

According to an exclusive report by Times Now News, both the actors, who play siblings on the show, were diagnosed with dengue. As per the report, first Riya got diagnosed with the disease. She underwent some tests after falling ill. Currently on a break from shooting, she was advised by the doctor to have complete bed rest. Later Krishna too got diagnosed with dengue and is currently on bed rest.


Talking about his diagnoses and following the doctor’s advice, Krishna told Times Now News, “I will rest for a few more days after the advice of the doctors and then go back to work. I am taking medicines on time and taking rest at home.” As soon as reports of the actors being unwell started doing rounds on the internet, fans took to social media to wish the actors a speedy recovery. 

Talking about the show, Dhruv Tara - Samay Sadi Se Pare focuses on the love story between a 17th century princess Tara and 21st century neurosurgeon Dr. Dhruv Saxena, essayed by Ishaan Dhawan. The show also features Narayani Shastri, Yash Tonk, Harsh Vashisht, Abha Parmar and many others in pivotal roles. The show started airing on SAB TV in February 2023 and has been gaining a lot of recognition from the audience.
