Actress Urmila Matondkar is currently seen judging the reality show ‘Dance India Dance Super Moms 3’ which marks her return to TV. She is joined by ace choreographer Remo D'Souza and veteran actress Bhagyashree on judges’ panel. In the latest episode, Urmila recreated her iconic song ‘Rangeela Re’ from Ram Gopal Varma's film, Rangeela with Remo on the stage. The actress also revealed that D'Souza was a background dancer in the song, 27 years ago.

Matondkar made this candid revelation after the contestant named Riddhi Tiwari gave a power-packed performance on ‘Yaaro Sun Lo Zara’ from Rangeela Re and said she is a big fan of Urmila. She also requested her to dance with her on the stage. And, while obliging her request, the Judaai actress went on to stage and called Remo too. Urmila recalled working with the dancer and praised him saying she has seen Remo growing day by day.

The 48-year-old actress said, “Many people don’t know why I have called Remo along with me on the stage, but I would like to inform everyone that he was also there in the song with me 27 years ago. At that time, he was a background dancer, and he was at an early stage of his career. Having said that, I must add that I have seen him grow day by day and today, I would love to praise his journey by saying his own catchphrase - ‘Now that’s what I call a performance.”

Talking about sharing the stage with Urmila, Remo, in a press statement stated that it’s an honour for him to share the DID stage with Urmila and that he feels surreal to hear these kind words from her.
