Television’s heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh broke millions of hearts after he announced tying the knot with girlfriend Ruchikaa Kapoor in a court marriage in 2020 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. In conversation with ETimes the actor spoke about his new phase, as a married man. The Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actor speaking about entering a new phase in his life mentioned learning new things and taking responsibilities with each passing day. Most importantly the actor is learning to share space with his wife, as he lived in Mumbai alone for many years.
He said, “We have entered a new phase of life. I am learning new things every day and taking up new responsibilities. I lived alone for many years in Mumbai, so I am learning to share my space with someone now. (laughs). I enjoy cooking for her.” Further revealing that the couple will be soon moving into their new house and last few months they have been busy working on it. A believer in simple and minimalistic life, he revealed his house to be modest and not anything gigantic.
He adds, “Also, Ruchikaa and I are moving to a new home, so the last few months have been spent doing it up. I believe in living a simple, minimalistic life, and it is a modest house and not something gigantic.”
