Shivanggi Verma, who recently joined the ongoing TRP topper show Choti Sarrdaarni made her digital debut as well. The show titled Men Don't Bitch recently released on a popular digital streaming platform.
"I play the role of a dominating wife whose character name is Boo-Boo. My husband is 5-6 years younger to me which makes me all the more authoritative. I pick up on him on reasons like not remembering the important dates and not doing household work. Boo- Boo is a classy, sexy and hot wife who has always dominated her husband", she says.
Men Don't Bitch is a story of a couple who have their regular share of fights and nok-jhok just like any other couple. The couple one day decides to record their intimate moment on camera and somehow the video gets leaked. The story is how one day the husband's friends who are drinking and having a chill time happen to show the video to the husband and how the couple later together struggle to get that video erased from any medium whatsoever.
"The subject was intriguing and while it is a comedy one, it has a strong messaging as well. In today's age where digital platforms and high tech phones are ruling, nothing remains a secret anymore. We educate the youth not to record their private intimate moment so that there is no fear of any leak. We have conveyed this message in a subtle comedy way. I am sure the youths will love this show as the title 'Men don't bitch' is equally intriguing," says Shivanggi.
"Another reason to say yes to the show was it's producers Kanika Maheshwari and Ankur Ghai. We were together in Nach Baliye season 6, when I was paired with MasterChef Ripu Daman Handa. Though we were competitors on the show, we always maintained cordial relations and even after so many years we have been in touch. When Ankur Ghai contacted me for this, I said yes for our great bond as well as a great script," she concludes.
