Actress Chahatt Khanna has openly voiced her opinions on many social causes. The actress has been popular for her marriage which made headlines last year. Chahatt is blessed with two beautiful daughters from her marriage and is in a happy place since her separation. The actress in an exclusive interview with Spotboye.com voiced her opinion about the #MeToo movement and the prevalent issue of casting couch in the industry. As Khanna doesn’t miss out a chance in talking about the prevalent issues in Bollywood and the #MeToo movement, the actress took to her social media to share something in regard to the movement and encourage people to take a just stand on the same.

Chahatt took to her Instagram story to share a message with her fans about the #MeToo movement. Khanna’s post spoke about how the movement is something very important. In her post, she spoke about how it doesn’t hold any importance if anyone keeps quite or withdraws the case. She mentioned how after taking money, they are actually ruining the case. The actress in her post said how people should think about the movement in the long term, where everything cannot be perfect now, but will eventually bring about a big change in society. She went on to add in her post how the industry will then be a safer place for people to work in.


Talking in brief about the #MeToo movement, Khanna’s post read how unfortunate it is to see many women making propaganda and using the movement for their personal benefits. She mentioned about the repercussions the man faces when he is blamed or accused without any proof. Chahatt spoke about how the person goes through humiliation, loses his reputation and it can affect not only his career but also the life of the man and that of his family members, particularly wife and kids etc. The actress then added on about the cases of Men too.


Chahatt this post on her social media clearly shows the actresses’ stand in terms of the movement. Appealing to fans to not misuse her words for wrong purposes, Chahatt Khanna concluded by speaking without any bias for both genders and mentioned how sexual harassment should stop and the campaign should be for both genders.


Chahatt Khanna has recently marked her comeback into Bollywood with film Prasathanam which stars Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal and herself in pivotal roles. Chahatt’s film Prassthanam is scheduled to hit theatres on September 20.
