Bad news for those who have been glued to STAR plus
at 8 pm to catch their favourite telly stars- Drashti Dhami and Arjun
Bijlani in Ekta Kapoor’s daily soap- Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil (launched in
November 2016).
Well, SpotboyE.com has learnt that the show is about to
go off-air. If sources are to be believed then the real reason for this
untimely wrap-up is show’s low TRP. According to a source, it has failed to get
audience’s attention. The show, which stars two big television names- Drashti
and Arjun as leads (who have their individual fan following) has failed to
build the chemistry on-screen.

Interestingly, Additi Gupta and Laksh Lalwani quit the
show sometime back as reportedly they were unhappy with the track of the show.
However, last week Laksh was back on the show. BUT we have learnt that Laksh’s
come back will not take the story to the next level, in fact, his character
will die soon in the show.
A track is being sketched out where the viewers will see
Laksh aka Veer lose his life as he will meet with an accident in a chase
sequence between him and Raghav (played by Arjun).
That's how the makers will end his character. Guess Laksh
wants an early exit from the show as his upcoming show 'Porus' on Sony is set
to go on floors soon.

The show’s initial episodes were shot in Austria.
While the last date of the show is not decided yet, we
have come to know that the actors and the production team is already aware
about the news.
We sent out a text message to Ekta Kapoor asking her to
confirm the news. However, we didn’t get a response from her.
