Kapil Sharma doesn’t have reason to guffaw anymore, as far as his movie acting career is concerned.
Senior producer Ratan Jain and veteran directors Abbas-Mustan, who gave the TV host-cum-stand-up-comedian his surprise success Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon last year, are angry as hell with him and do not wish to cast him in a movie ever again.

Reason: they got wind of the fact that Kapil, whom they gave a break to, went on a bragging spree, claiming that he was the only reason for his debut film’s bright performance at the box-office. He did not appreciate the director-duo’s efforts, nor the producer’s no-expenses-barred pre-release publicity campaign.
No wonder, Kapil, who has been making more enemies than friends, is being snubbed by top-line production banners and directors.
He has also taken a panga with Yash Raj, since his project with the banner – a comic caper titled Bank Chor – fell through the cracks for unknown reasons. Kapil was replaced by Riteish Deshmukh in Bank Chor, which has yet to be released.
Sadly, Kapil seems to have displayed no regard for Ratan Jain and Abbas-Mustan, who incidentally, gave Shah Rukh Khan one of his biggest breaks and career-defining role in Baazigar.
