BMC Asks Kapil Sharma To Name The Official Who Asked Him For Bribe

A few hours ago, SpotboyE.com brought you Kapil Sharma’s angry tweets against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The actor-comedian was upset about a Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official seeking a bribe of Rs 5 lakh, when he approached them for the permission to build a new office (Why Is Kapil Sharma Angry With The PM?, Sep 9).





Soon after, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis replied -- again on social media -- saying he has asked the BMC to take strict action against the corrupt official.



The Municipal Corporation has also taken Kapil’s allegations seriously. The BMC has sent a letter, asking him to reveal the name of the corrupt official. The authorities have also promised that the accused will be punished severely.
