Nia Sharma, a popular television actress, is finally set to participate in the upcoming season of Bigg Boss 18 after having declined to join the show for several past seasons. Nia, who is currently starring in Colors TV's Laughter Chef, has been connected with Bigg Boss several times, but this marks her official entry. The announcement of her participation came during the grand finale of Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, where Nia was present alongside comedians Bharti Singh and Kashmera Shah as guests. During the episode, host Rohit Shetty teased the audience by stating that one of the attendees would be seen as a contestant on Bigg Boss 18. Though she received applause and well wishes from everyone around her, including the live audience, Nia appeared slightly anxious about entering the house. After the announcement, she was seen asking fellow contestant Abhishek Kumar to wish her luck, to which he kindly responded, assuring her that she has his support throughout her journey.

Aside from her recent work on Laughter Chef, Nia also gained attention for her role in the fantasy fiction series Suhaagan Chudail on the same network. While Nia is the first confirmed contestant, several well-known celebrities, including Padmini Kolhapure, Sameera Reddy, Shoaib Ibrahim, Meera Deosthale, Nyrra Banerjee, and Muskaan Bamne, are also rumored to be joining the cast of Bigg Boss 18. The show is anticipated to premiere on October 6th and will be hosted once again by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan.
