Television actor Jay Soni has made a name for himself in the entertainment industry with his charming smile and versatile acting performances. Having made a lasting impression on the audience with his portrayal of Abhinav Sharma in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, he is reportedly going to participate in Salman Khan’s upcoming reality show Bigg Boss 17. According to a report by ETimes, he is currently in talks with the makers of the show to participate in the upcoming season.
As per the leading publication’s source, the actor will be an interesting candidate on the reality show. While he is usually a calm and composed man, he gets irked when something goes wrong or someone messes with him. Quoted by Times Now, the source said, “Jay will be an interesting candidate to have on the show. He is usually composed but not to be mistaken for being subdued. For the unversed, Jay has impressed the audiences with his performances in shows lie Sasural Genda Phool, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby, Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki, Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi and recently Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Apart from television serials he has also hosted shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs and Comedy Superstar to add on he has participated in halak Dikhhla Jaa season 5 and Nach Baliye 7. Talking about Bigg Boss 17, it is being reported that Salman Khan won’t be able to host the entirety of the show due to prior work commitments. Names of Bollywood biggies like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan have surfaced on the internet as a possibility of them replacing the Dabangg actor when he is unavailable.
Speaking of the theme ‘Couples Vs Singles,’ the makers are reportedly planning to pit famous celebrity couples and singles against each other. If the reports are to be believed, they will be bringing in 5 singles and 4 couples together for the show. Until now many names have resurfaced the internet, leaving fans excited to know who will be participating. It was also reported earlier that Bigg Boss season 15’s beloved couple Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash might also enter the show as mentors for the couple’s team. The show will be aired on national television from October.
