Television’s most anticipated reality show Bigg Boss is back with its 17th edition and Salman Khan is currently hosting the new season of the show. The host welcomed 17 new contestants and announced the beginning of the reality show. This time, the show will see a number of celebrity couples who entered the show and some YouTubers. This year the theme of Bigg Boss 17 is reported to be dil, dimaag, aur dum.
However, amid all the excitement, fans are excited to know the details about the highest-paid contestant on the show.
The latest reports suggest that the highest-paid contestant on the show is reportedly taking a whopping amount of Rs 12 lakh per week and she is none other than Ankita Lokhande.
Apart from the television industry, Ankita has made her mark in Bollywood. She became a household name after she starred in Pavitra Rishta alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. Now, Ankita is once again making waves with her participation in the show with her husband Vicky Jain who is a businessman.
The couple made an elegant entry in the show and Salman Khan was also seen pulling their leg and making them take vows before entering the house.
Ankita has also been credited with 2 Rs 100 crore films in her name and after two years of gap from acting and her separation from Sushant Singh Rajput, the actress made her big Bollywood debut alongside Kangana Ranaut in Manikarnika. The film amassed Rs 142 crore worldwide. Later, teh actress was also seen starring in Baaghi 3 starring Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh. The film was also a hit and collected Rs 137 crore worldwide.
Interestingly, after Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui is the second highest-paid contestant in Bigg Boss 17 who is reportedly being paid Rs 7-8 lakhs per week.
