After four months of dramas, fights, love and friendships, Bigg Boss 16 finally got its winner on Sunday night. Beating Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Shiv Thakare, rapper MC Stan emerged victorious. While he was hailed by the internet for his real, unfiltered personality on the show, a section of netizens were miffed about him winning the trophy. They had taken to social media to express how he was undeserving of his success.
Reacting to the same, in an interview with Indian Express, the rapper has shared that that tag doesn’t bother him. However, he likes it when people get jealous as it is a natural emotion for humans to showcase. He told the media publication, “I honestly don’t care about them, mujhe fark nahi padta mama. I actually like people who get jealous. It’s a very natural emotion in a human being. One just needs to accept that this wasn’t meant for them. For the unversed, ever since the top five finalists were announced, netizens were sure that it would be either Priyanka or Shiv that would win the trophy. Being the first rapper to participate in such a reality show, MC Stan was loved by the audience for his relationship with his Mandali, that consisted of Sajid Khan, Abdu Rozik, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Sumbul Touqeer Khan and Shiv. His witty comebacks and swag definitely became a fan favourite. The rapper took home the diamond studded, horse shaped trophy, a cash prize of Rs 31 lakhs and a brand new car.
