Bigg Boss 16 is currently making headlines for an altercation gone bad between contestants Shiv Thakare and Archana Gautam. Things got heated during a recent episode when the actor turned politician refused to apologise for hoarding tissue boxes in the kitchen and her bedroom, prompting Shiv to step in.
In the heat of the moment, the Bigg Boss Marathi winner mocked her by indirectly taking the name of the leader of the political party she represents. He makes quite a personal jab at Archana, which makes her lose her calm, and she holds his neck. Other contestants see this as an act of violence and demand her eviction. Nimrit Kaur and Sumbul Touqeer Khan go as far as to bash the politician and threaten her. While Nimrit tells her she will hit her with her chappal, Sumbul says, "yahin gaad dungi."
After the entire incident, Bigg Boss asks Shiv to make a decision regarding Archana’s stay in the house. He asks the master of the house to eliminate her even after she breaks down in tears and asks him not to do so. Fans were left quite shocked at the turn of events. Apart from this incident, Sumbul had recently made headlines for her relationship with Shalin Bhanot and Tina Datta. During a nomination task, Shalin was seen supporting Tina over Sumbul, which irked the Imlie actress. When she confronts the older actor, she tells him he is always biased when it comes to choosing between her and Tina and that she was his friend before the Uttaran actress.
