Tajikistani social media sensation Abdu Rozik is undoubtedly one of the most adorable contestants of Bigg Boss 16. He has managed to win the hearts of the audience with is adorableness and friendships with all of his housemates. However, fans were left enraged when Sajid Khan, Sumbul Touqeer Khan and many others made him dance only in his swimming trunks, for Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia’s birthday. Now, his management agency too has released a statement questioning why such an act was telecasted on the National television.
For the unversed, Abdu’s fellow housemates Shiv Thakare, Sumbul Touqeer and MC Stan had proceeded to write ‘HBD Nimrit’ on his chest and ‘Love Tatti (I Love Shit)’ on his back. Condemning such an act, his agency expressed their shock over the 19-year-old ‘being subjected to such inappropriate discriminatory behaviour in the Bigg Boss House.’ They further stated, “It is morally unfitting to employ manipulative tactics and play with an innocent person's emotions for one's own malicious benefit, especially someone who doesn't fully comprehend the rationale behind a certain activity and take undue advantage of their simplicity and kindness.”

The statement further said that what the contestants did was a breach of Abdu’s trust and integrity as they wrote such words without explaining him the exact full meaning. They also stated, “We condemn such non-inclusive and non-compassionate behaviour and we are grateful that we enjoy the unparalleled support of the audiences and the fans. Abdu is in a foreign country and we expected a humane reception from the contestants.”
They went on to share that Abdu is trying to establish a career in India. Becoming a target of ‘unsolicited humour and mockery on national television’ can harm that. An excerpt from the statement read, “He is trying to establish a career for himself in India and not become a target of unsolicited humour and mockery on national television. It is indeed questionable that nobody has bothered to apologize to him or give him an explanation thus far but instead everyone has chosen to participate in this bullying and public ridicule.”
With fans and ex-Bigg Boss contestants coming out to support Abdu, it will be interesting to see how Salman Khan will react to the entire ordeal during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode.
