Jaan Kumar Sanu, who participated in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14, is son of legendary singer Kumar Sanu. The singer had an interesting journey inside. However, he got eliminated from the show due to less number of votes. And post his exit from the show, the singer made headlines for him being disappointed with his father due to his remarks over his mother for the way he has been raised. Jaan also spoke about how he has no support from his father in his career.
It all started while Jaan was locked inside the Bigg Boss house and unknowingly went on hurting Marathi people sentiments during an argument with housemate Nikki Tamboli. After which a huge controversy was created outside and his father released a video defending his son over the ‘Marathi controversy’, and blaming his ex-wife Rita for Jaan’s behaviour. And then in a new video Kumar Sanu went back on his comments and said his mom has raised them well and all that she could do for them as a mother.

I have not seen these videos. I don't think anyone has the right to raise questions on my upbringing because everyone has seen me in the show and appreciated my upbringing. And I feel I am not answerable to anyone on this. Also, it is not right for a father to continue having resentment towards his children for such a long time. You might have differences with your partner, but most couples have seen to it that the children do not suffer.”
