Rahul Vaidya gave a very tough competition to Rubina Dilaik. Sadly, he could not lift up the trophy of Bigg Boss 14 and be the winner. He made it to the top two and had to settle for being the first runner-up. However, he had no regrets. In his interview post Bigg Boss 14 finale, Rahul Vaidya stated that he is happy with his journey and he believes in losing with dignity. He did mention that even though he is not sad, his girlfriend Disha Parmar was disappointed.
In an interview with Times Of India, Rahul said, "I’m happy that my journey of Bigg Boss has ended. I would be happier if I was on the winning side, but there’s always only one winner. However, I always believe in winning with dignity and losing with grace. Honestly, I am very happy that now I can get back to my family and my girlfriend and spend quality time with them. I have done my bit and being in top two means a lot. I am so surprised that I am not sad at all."
As people got reminded of his Indian Idol defeat from Bigg Boss 14's result, Rahul blamed it on his luck a little bit. The singer also stated that he is a different person now from what he was 15 years back. "I can probably blame my luck a bit. But I am happy for whatever my luck has given me rather than complaining what it has not. I am thankful for what it has given me. 15 years ago when Indian Idol happened I was a different person and now I am completely different person, so I have no regrets," he said.
Well, we are now waiting for his wedding news update with Disha Parmar. The singer is all set to tie the knot soon. (Also Read: Bigg Boss 14 Finale: 'PROUD OF YOU RAHUL VAIDYA' Takes Over Internet As Fans Pour Love For The First Runner-Up)
