Every now and then, the dynamics between Rahul Vaidya and Nikki Tamboli changes. At one point they are like best friends and at the other moment, they fight like cats and dogs. As their relationship continues to confuse the audience, in the recent promo of Bigg Boss 14, we see Nikki crying inconsolably when Rahul said he needs a close friend who can tell him what's wrong and what's right. It so happened, Rahul and Nikki were having a normal conversation in the garden area where the singer says he adores Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin's friendship while also hoping that even he had one in the house. Upon hearing this, Nikki is not very pleased as she confronts him. Rahul honestly tells him that he doesn't feel close to her either far from her, the feelings are neutral.
Nikki Tamboli then expresses her sentiments by saying that him saying that he hopes to have a close friend in the house hurt her and she wipes her tears. Rahul tries to explain it to her that Aly and Jasmin's friendship is different and theirs is different. She then recalls the time when they were both in the red zone area, and said, "Aapne tabhi kaha tha ki agar tu nahi hoti, toh mein yaha kiske saath baatein karta aur kahi apna connection strong hogaya tha. Aur abhi uski ke samne bol rahe ho ki kaash aisa dost hota, toh wo baat chubhi mujhe." Rahul again says that he wasn't comparing their friendship with anyone, to which Tamboli said she has a problem with the word 'neutral.' Furthermore, we see Tamboli breaks down completely and Vaidya trying to console her.
In the previous Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan bashed Nikki for hiding the mask in her pants during the nomination task. He called her act ‘shameful’ while extending his support to Rahul Vaidya.
For now, wild card contestant Kavita Kaushik is back in the Bigg Boss 14 house after having a discussion with the special celebrity panel which saw Naagin 5 star Surbhi Chandna, former contestant Kamya Punjabi, Arti Singh and Vindu Dara Singh who gave her the ticket to the house.
