Kum Kum Bhagya actress, Naina Singh who was recently part of the reality show, Bigg Boss 14, opens up about the ‘sympathy card’ that most contestants use to earn votes during their journey in the show. While most viewers blame Shardul Pandit for playing the sympathy card to gain more votes over Naina Singh, ultimately leading to the latter’s exit from the show, Naina says she’s not one of those who uses the sympathy card to get votes from the show’s fans.

She says, “I didn’t want to be a charity case. I didn’t want to play the sympathy card; that’s just not my personality. Maybe if I played the sympathy card, I’d probably still be in there- but that’s just not who I am as a person. There’s a lot of people in the house that are playing the sympathy card, and well, it’s working well for them”.  ALSO READ:Bigg Boss 14: Karan Patel’s Wife Ankita Bhargava Calls Shardul Pandit’s Eviction ‘Unfair And Illogical’; Here’s How Shardul Replied

She further adds, “I’m not saying that Shardul in any way played a sympathy card, but if the show featured his struggle story, they should have featured mine too.”

Naina, who didn’t have it easy during the initial days of her career with financial struggles, says, “I didn’t put my struggles on display because people are just going to see what’s on the surface, and not see the ‘struggle’ part. Because most people’s thought process doesn’t go beyond that. And that’s okay.” ALSO READ:Bigg Boss 14: Akash Choudhary Says, 'Just Like Shardul, Naina Singh Also Has Financial Issues, But She Will Not Use It To Get Sympathy Votes'- EXCLUSIVE
