The last eviction from Bigg Boss 14 that everyone saw was of Shardul Pandit. He entered as the wild card contestant along with Kavita Kaushik and Naina Singh but after staying for a few weeks, Shardul's journey in the house came to an end last week. He got eliminated due to less number of votes. There was a very close margin between the number of votes gathered by the two with Shardul ultimately losing it. Host Salman Khan also praised him for entering the house when his mother was unwell. However, recently he revealed that he needed the show for money. After his elimination, Shardul even asked Salman Khan for some work.
In an interview with India Today, he said that chances of winning were quite less despite having no digital managers. But he wasn't expecting to exit so soon. He revealed he asked Salman for work as he said, “I did get the most elegant farewell on Bigg Boss but there is no work outside. I don't have Salman Khan's number but I would like to give him a message, 'I need work. If you have any position for an actor, please give me work.’”
“The moment I left the Bigg boss house, I was taken to my vanity. There I requested to speak to Salman (Khan) bhai for a minute. He told me that like Kavita, even I could be back. After that, I just sat there for two hours. I couldn't cry or feel anything because I needed the show for money. The realisation is finally sinking in that it's over,” he told the portal.
After Shardul's eviction, actor Karan Patel and his wife Ankita Bhargava were not pleased as they called it unfair and illogical. Even BB14 Toofani seniors Hina Khan and Gauahar Khan praised Pandit and said that he played well in the house.
