Rashami Desai is a well-known star in the television industry. The actress shot to the fame with Uttaran where she essayed the role of Tapasya alongside Tina Datta who was Iccha in the show. Uttaran was the show where she also found love in Nandish Singh Sandu. After the show, the couple got married but sadly, their marital bliss didn’t last for long. Nevertheless, she then went on to feature in dance reality shows, like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and Nach Baliye 7, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 6, Ishq Ka Rang Safed and Adhuri Kahaani Hamari and Dil Se Dil Tak. But she became the talk of the town when she was seen opposite Sidharth Shukla in Bigg Boss 13. From her nasty fights to later becoming friends, they stole the maximum limelight when the two were locked inside the house.

On the work front, Rashami Desai made a comeback with Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show Naagin 4 also known as Naagin – Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel where she is seen playing the role of Shalakha who is also a replacement of Jasim Bhasin who was playing Nayantara in the show. As Shalakha is the new wife to Dev aka Vijayendra Kumeria, Nia Sharma aka Brinda who is the wife of Dev is going all out and about to re-enter while killing off Shalakha. Meanwhile, the show is on hold due to the lockdown for 21 days that has been declared by PM Narendra Modi over coronavirus outbreak in the globe.
