The 14th season of Bigg Boss kick-started with 11 contestants and 3 seniors. In the seniors category, we saw Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan, Bigg Boss 11 runner up Hina Khan and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla. Within a week or two after the show went on air, there were reports that the makers were planning to bring another set of Toofani seniors that included lovebirds Himanshi Khurana-Asim Riaz and Rashami Desai. Well, not previous season’s contestants but we saw former Bigg Boss contestants like Vikas Gupta, Manu Punjabi, Arshi Khan, Rakhi Sawant and Rahul Mahajan entering the house.
It was being said that Himanshi and Asim were approached for the show But due to some reasons, runner up Asim had turned down the offer. Now in his latest interview, Asim opened up about the same and said he had just recovered and didn’t want to go back. However, he adds, if makers give him a chance he will go now. He told Bollywood Bubble, “Yes, I was offered. But the thing is that I have to spend 140 days in the house. It was a long time. For me, at that time I just recovered and it leaves an impact on your head that you just remember something and it’s like ‘I don’t want to go back’.”
“This is not the right time for me to go. I thought I have just recovered and doing good in my life. If I get a chance I will go. But at that time when I was offered, I wasn’t ready to be very honest,” he added further.
