SpotboyE.com has come to know that Somi will be seen making her acting debut with a Netflix web series, titled as Nyaay- The Justice Call. It also stars Shakti Kapoor, Jaya Prada, Amar Upadhyay and Kinshuk Mahajan.
A source close to the show tells us that Somi will play the role of a victim in the web series. The shoot has already begun and Somi is quite excited about it. Somi was last seen in a music video with former Bigg Boss 12 contestant, Deepak Thakur, with whom she is more than often romantically linked.
Recently, Somi grabbed a lot of limelight when she came in support of Deepak for mocking Jasleen Matharu. For those who’ve come in late, Deepak had taken a jibe at Jasleen’s Bigg Boss 12 bikini act and posted a video talking about it. Jasleen did not take this lying low and filed a complaint against Deepak for outraging her modesty. Somi Khan, had the spoken in defence of Deepak at an event and had said, “Kisi bhi ladki ka mazak banana acchi baat nahi hoti hai but Deepak ka intention aisa nahi tha. Rahi baat Jasleen ki to unhone bhi bhaut kuch abshabd bol rakhe hain humare baare mein, to she should apologise for that first. I was locked inside Bigg Boss house and she spoke on my character, my family and what not? So if she is expecting him to apologise I think she should apologise to me first for all bad things she spoke about me when I was not even available to defend myself.”
