Ever since Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide at his Bandra residence due to depression, mental health has become a burning topic all over. On social media a lot of people have come ahead and spoken about their mental health and one such person is Zubair Khan whom we saw on the controversial reality show Bigg Boss. Zubair who was ancontestant on season 11 of the show with Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan, Vikas Gupta and Priyank Sharma. He was evicted in the very first week.
Reports claimed that actor had an argument with show's host Salman Khan and later in the night consumed many sleeping pills due to which makers decided to eliminate him from the show. He later filed an police complaint against Salman Khan for threatening him. Now Zubair took his Facebook page to disclose about his mental health and informing the world that he is been suffering from depression.
In his post, Khan writes, "Yes I have been suffering depression from past 13 years. I am a mental patient (sic) and on strong medication. But I am alive due to Allah and my mother's blessings. To divert my self I play with my kids as they are the stress buster". Have a look at his post here;
Zubair has his production house and he made a film with another Bigg Boss contestant Ajaz Khan in 2013 titled Lakeer Ka Fakeer.
Meanwhile, Sushant Singh Rajput's death has ignited a conversation on mental health. It's best to reach out and seek support if you are facing a mental illness. Just yesterday, comic Danish Sait opened up on suffering from depression, receiving overwhelming support from Deepika Padukone.
