Comedian Siddharth Sagar, who is
well-known in the comedy circuit courtesy his stints in Comedy Circus and
Comedy Classes among others, was a happy man. For, he was finalised as one of
the cast members of Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza, which meant he would share the
stage with the likes of Krushna Abhishek, Bharti Singh, Sudesh Lahiri, Mona
Singh and Sharad Malhotra among others.
However, things didn’t go as per plan and he was dropped from the show. Why? We
will tell you.
The incident goes back a few months ago when Siddharth was supposed to slap
Bharti during an act on Comedy Nights Live. However, it so happened that he
ended up planting a real hard one on her face.

Anil Kapoor, who was a special guest on the show, too looked aghast when the
incident happened, but Bharti, like a true professional, retained her composure
and continued with the skit. Post the performance she made her displeasure
known to the production house and the two reportedly stopped talking post the
episode.
Now, looks like Bharti has not forgotten the incident. SpotboyE.com has it that
when she learnt that all the formalities to get Siddharth on the show have been
completed, she approached the production house (Optimystix) and made it clear
that they would have to choose either Siddharth or her.
Needless to say, Optimystix chose Bharti as she along
with Krushna Abhishek are the only two artistes who have been retained from
Comedy Nights Bachao and also Bharti is more popular than Siddharth.
