Renowned television and Bollywood actor Rohitash Gaud has left the audiences impressed with his acting chops. He is currently essaying the role of Manmohan Tiwari on Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai! Recently the makers of the serial hosted a celebration and a press conference, to celebrate the comedy show clocking eight years. While talking to the media, the actor opened up about his thoughts on actors getting replaced in television shows and the importance of writers for the shows.
During his interaction with Koimoi, Gaud was asked to share his thoughts on television content and if the shows work because of its script writers or the actors. He revealed that the scriptwriters definitely play a huge role when it comes to television content as they have to write interesting stories. He went on to express how as actors, they already know the traits of their characters, so they just have to act it out. The actor added, “Lekin agar aachi writing aati hai toh char chand laga deti hai.”
The 56-year-old actor further spoke about if actors are easily replaceable in television shows. He shared how some are replaceable but others aren’t. He said, “Yeh badi kathin cheez hoti hai. Kyuki audience ke dimaag mein woh kirdar chap jate hai. Lambe samey ke liye rehta hai toh zyada chap jaata hai. Uska asar toh padta hai – isme koi shaq nahi ha.”
For the unversed, over the years many actors on the show, including the leading ladies, have been replaced due to various reasons. While the show went on and became one of the most watched shows, the impact the old cast had on the audience is still fresh with the viewers.
