It seems Beyhadh 2 actor, Shivin Narang will have to wait a bit more to see himself on the 70 mm screen. His first Bollywood project, titled Dheet Patangey, for which he was extremely excited, will not release on the big screen anymore. SpotboyE.com has come to know that Shivin's film, partly shot in 2016, will now be released on a digital platform.
It was a youth-oriented film and Shivin was looking forward to it with baited breath. In an earlier interview, while talking about his Bollywood debut, Shivin had told us about it being delayed, "Last year, I couldn't give my dates as my father was unwell so we couldn't shoot. And then it is not easy to make and release a film if you don't have a godfather to help you out. It’s getting completed soon and hopefully will release too."
Shivin had also added, "I am excited, but at the same time I am nervous also as I have already proved myself on the small screen. But Bollywood is a new medium for me and I have to give my best in a few hours to win the audiences’ heart unlike daily soaps where you meet them on regular basis." Talking about his character in the film he had mentioned, "I am not allowed to reveal that but it is completely different from what I have done before as my look and feel will be that from 1983."
Although the film will be available on a popular OTT platform soon, we are sure Shivin will be a bit disappointed as his dream of seeing himself on the big screen has come to a halt for now. However, his loyal fans will be excited with news as they will get to see their favourite actor do something new.
