Actress Anjum Farooki who became a household name with the TV show Balika Vadhu, embraced motherhood recently. The actress welcomed her daughter on August 28, 2020 with her husband Saqib Syed. Introducing her to the world, she shared a picture of her hands and also shared her name, the duo has named her Haneya Syed. Haneya, according to the Quranic book, means a child who brings in happiness for her parents. The duo tied the knot in the year 2013 and Anjum bid good bye to her acting career.
Sharing a close up of her daughter’s hands, she wrote, “Welcome to the world lil girl. Meet my daughter Haneya Syed 28.08.2020” with angel emoji in her caption. After she broke the news, fans congratulated her. Saqib Syed serves the nation while he works in Indian Navy. Anjum Farooki played the role of Gauri on the show, but now the actress misses being in front of camera. However, the actress feels now working for a daily soap not being a feasible option. During the lockdown, just like many other shows Balika Vadhu too was re-telecast on the GEC.
