Recently, veteran and National Award Winning actress Surekha Sikri, better known as Dadisa from Balika Vadhu and Badhaai Ho was admitted to hospital after she suffered a stroke. Later, Sikri’s manager confirmed the news to SpotboyE exclusively and revealed her parameters are stable. The actress was first admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a Juhu Hospital in Mumbai. Initial reports suggested the actress had suffered a brain stroke and a nurse from the hospital had confirmed the news without divulging into details.
Now, here’s good news for all those who have been praying for Badhaai Ho actress. According to the latest reports, Surekha Sikri has been discharged from the hospital. Doctor Ashutosh Shetty, who has been treating the actress, confirmed the same to ETimes and said she went home two days back and her condition is stable now. Surekha Sikri is at home under the supervision of her trusted caretaker-nurse, Pinky.
Neurologist, Dr Ashutosh Shetty, told ETimes, "Surekhaji has improved from the time she suffered the stroke. She recognises people. She is even walking with support. Of course, she will need time before she can resume working and needs physiotherapy now.” While her caretaker Pinky said, “When contacted, Pinky said, "Honestly, her family members have forbidden me to talk. But since you have spoken to the doctor already, I can only add that Surekhaji is stable and we came home on the 22nd evening.”
