The COVID-19 pandemic has been affecting the country drastically and as days pass by, even with the lockdown, many people have been testing positive for the virus. Since days now, the government officials have been requesting people to avoid social gatherings and maintain social distancing to curb down the spread of the virus. As many have been speculating that the spike in the COVID-19 positive cases is due to the Tablighi Jamaat event that took place in Delhi’s Nizamuddin locality, television actor Arjun Bijlani took to his social media to voice out his opinion on how one community cannot be blamed for the spread of the deadly virus.
On Twitter, Arjun Bijlani shared his opinion on how people are busy blaming communities for the spike in the COVID-19 positive cases in the country. Arjun tweeted, “It saddens me to see how #muslims r being labelled as spreaders of #Covid_19 . Will this country ever get over Hindu Muslim propaganda.there are good and bad people in every community. Can’t blame an entire community for actions of a few .we are one Hindu or Muslim. #HumanityFirst.”
Talking about how Humanity is something that comes first, Arjun Bijlani mentioned that one cannot blame an entire community for the actions of a few people and added that we are all one united nation. The actor shared how it saddens him to see the Muslims in the country being labelled as the spreaders of COVID-19. Bijlani further went on to question fans if the country will ever get over Hindu Muslim propaganda as there are good and bad people in every community.
