Model-actor Apeksha Porwal, best known for playing Koyal in the crime thriller web show Undekhi, was recently diagnosed with Covid-19. Apeksha had to shoot for an advertisement for a popular clothing brand. For which the actress was supposed to leave town for an ad shoot, but she couldn’t. After getting diagnosed with the contagious virus, she had to go for a 14 days quarantine.
After the quarantine period, she rested for a couple days before resuming work. The ad opportunity meant a lot to Apeksha, but she was apprehensive if the brand would wait for so long for her. Much to her surprise, the brand pushed the shoot and waited for her to recover completely.
Talking about it, Apeksha told SpotboyE.com, "It felt exhilarating to be back on set after being cooped up in one room for 14 days. Finally, having spent so much solitarily has taught me a different kind of resilience and patience. I’m grateful that my case was pretty mild and I had no symptoms after the first three days."
She added, "I however rested for a couple of extra days and made sure to take all precautions before meeting anybody and getting back on the set. But it truly felt great to be back, up and running. There’s nothing quite like the rush and energy of a set, and you feel it that much more after being cooped up for 14 days."
Apeksha, who was Miss Universe India 2017 (2nd Runner-up), shot for the ad recently.
