Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna, Aurra Bhatnagar, Sudhanshu Pandey, and others, the makers of the show, recently introduced a 5-year leap, which has left the fans with mixed reactions. In the last few episodes, it was seen that Anu befriends Shruti at the restaurant she works at. Anuj and Aadhya move to America and start their life anew and Vanraj starts controlling everyone’s life.
Today’s episode starts with Anupamaa making Halwa for Aadhya. She talks to Vikram about buying the ingredients at an Indian store with the money Yashpal’s mothers gave her. She tells him that she is making Halwa cake for Shruti’s daughter Aadhya’s birthday party. On the other hand, Anuj asks Shruti when the lady is coming. Shruti tells him that Joshiben will be coming to their house in the evening. Anuj thinks about the weird feeling he is having. Anu starts preparing the weekend special dish. Back at the Shah house, Vanraj exercises while thinking about his confrontation with Tapish. Kavya comes there and apologises to him for criticising his behaviour. Vanraj asks her to mind her words the next time she talks to him and advices her to follow Anupamaa’s footsteps, who she idolises so much. He reminds her of Anu’s 5 learnings for women. He tells her and Dimpy to be good daughters-in-law and wives. As Anu packs the cake for Aadhya, she starts writing what she did during the day in her diary. She goes on to remember Anuj and Choti Anu’s accusations and cries because she lost her everything. Anuj starts feeling restless. As Dimpy serves everyone food, Pakhi declares that she is going out with her friends. Baa reminds her to take Ishani and Pakhi tells her that her daughter will be staying at home. Baa gets angry and tells Pakhi that she was very eager to have a baby but now she wants a break from her own kid. Vanraj interrupts them and asks Pakhi to go and enjoy. Kavya suggests to Baa that they should do a video call between Ansh, Mahi, Pari and Ishani. They remember Anu and how she had kept the entire family together. As the episode comes to an end, Anu goes to Shruti’s house and they start bonding while the former cooks.
In the upcoming episode of the show, Aadhya is shocked to see Anu in the kitchen cooking food. As Anu dances for her friends, Aadhya calls Anuj to keep him away from the party as she doesn’t want her father to meet Anu.
