Star Plus’ television serial Anupamaa has been raking in all the love from the audiences ever since it started airing in 2020. Starring Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma, Apara Mehta and Gaurav Khanna, the show tops the BARC ratings every week. It enjoys a huge fan base on social media as well, however the ongoing track of the show has left the audience with mixed reactions. The drama in the show is at an all time high as Baa has been continuously taunting Malti Devi for abandoning Anuj when he was born.
In today’s episode it will be seen that the Shah and Kapadia families have gathered at the Kapadia mansion for Ganpati celebrations, while Malti Devi is left to stay at the Shah’s all alone. As she stays alone she will recall Baa’s hurtful words for abandoning her newborn in an orphanage and get very depressed. She will be haunted by Baa’s words, Malti Devi will decide to not be alive. On the other hand, everyone else is having the time of their life enjoying sweets made by Anuj. As Malti Devi steps out of the house, a driver comes to her and gives her a container with the sweets made by Anuj. Malti Devi gets happy, stating that she still has hope. At the Kapadia mansion as everyone sits around talking, Barkha encourages Kavya to continue working after she has the baby. Barkha explains how having a baby sets back a woman’s growth in her career by years. As Baa counters by saying that it is the responsibility of the mother to stay at home and watch her kids, Barkha reveals that even fathers should take up the responsibility instead of just earning money. In the midst of it all, Anuj and Vanraj have a heart-to-heart talk about Kavya and her unborn child. He tells the latter that if he decides to look after the kid no one can stop him. Even Anu asks him to make a decision so that even Kavya knows if she has Vanraj’s support or if she has to face the world with her baby all alone. As the Shah family gets ready to leave, Dimpy announces her pregnancy leaving Samar and Anupamaa ecstatic.
In the upcoming episode it will be seen that Samar will express how he is over the moon. Anu hopes that happiness in their family stays the same. However, the show will take a dark turn as Samar will die after a tragedy and Anuj will be blamed for his sudden passing. It will be interesting to see how the future episodes unfold.
