The Television show Anupamaa has always managed to make it to the top of TRP charts, ever since it first aired. The show that went on air after the lockdown restrictions were eased, took off instantly due to its intense family drama and interesting plot. However, recently, the TRP charts of Anupamaa, starring Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey witnessed a downfall. Now, in an interview, lead actress, Rupali Ganguly opened up on the same. She spoke about the show being replaced by Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein on the top this week and slipping off the TRP chart.
Speaking with ETimes, Rupali Ganguly said she is sure that the show will bounce back. She seemed all relaxed and unperturbed about the show Anupamaa slipping of the TRP charts. Reacting on the same, Ganguly said, “Achchi baat hai. Kisi aur show ko bhi toh kabhi mauka mile.” She mentioned that it's fine that someone else is going ahead. And, the actress added, “It encourages us to work harder.” Rupali also said that the show producer, Rajan Shahi is also equally unperturbed. She revealed he is as is “as cheerful as ever.”
Rupali Ganguly also spoke about Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, a show produced by Rajan Shahi that continues to have a good run on the TRP charts even after 13 years. She said, “Look, we are talking about Mr Shahi who has his show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai going on since 13 years and currently at No 5. He closes his own shows.” The actress maintained that it is not her job to worry about the ratings. She said that she has to focus on giving her best in terms of performance and mentioned that “the channel and producer” shall think of the numbers.
Meanwhile, Rupali Ganguly also spoke about the show recently. She expressed her views on it. The actress shared how the show is about every woman who invests her time in her family. Ganguly also spoke about how the writers of the show have been facing trouble after a few actors have fallen sick.
