Anupamaa is currently one of the most trending shows on Indian television. The show’s TRPs have been soaring high and it has ultimately reached a mark close to 4. While a large chunk of the credit goes to the creators and actors, there’s no denying Rupali Ganguly’s popularity has raised sky-high.
The show has gained much popularity and Anupamaa has extended her reach to millions of households in India's small towns and villages. Well, there’s no denying Rupali Ganguly has beaten some of TV's veterans with the pay package she is commanding for the show.
According to a recent BollywoodLife report, a source told us, "Rupali Ganguly started off with a fee of Rs 1.5 lakh per day. It was in the high bracket but then she is a senior actress. Now, she is commanding Rs three lakh per day. She is now the highest-paid actress on Indian TV. Rupali Ganguly has beaten many popular younger names in the business."
Well, the report also suggests that Ganguly’s pay is even higher than the likes of Ram Kapoor and Ronit Bose Roy. From the looks of it, the 44-year-old actress has hiked her fee a few months ago.
It is justifiable given the kind of performances she is giving in every episode of the show.
