Actress Ankita Lokhande has been making headlines ever since Pavitra Rishta 2.0 was announced. For the unversed, after seven long years, the makers have decided to bring the show with Ankita reprising her iconic role of Archana. While her fans have been eagerly waiting for the show, some sections of netizens are now demanding to boycott the upcoming serial. It all started when a paparazzo asked the actress about missing Sushant Singh Rajput in the show but her reaction to it didn't go down well with the netizens.

On Friday, the paparazzi spotted Ankita outside her home and asked her a few questions related to Pavitra Rishta 2.0. While the actress posed for the photographers before she left for her destination, she expressed that she was excited about the sequel. However, when a photographer asked her if she would miss Sushant Singh Rajput, Ankita responded, “Chotu bade ho jao" and left in her car. The video of the same was shared by a popular celebrity photographer and it is now doing the rounds on social media, with users slamming the actress.

One miffed Instagram user commented on the video, “She should says yes I miss him but she said chotu bare ho jay really disappointed the way she replied, boycott her new tv seriel.” Another netizen furiously wrote, "Media- hum ssr ko miss karenge. Ankita - chotu bade ho ja tu. Ssr ka majak uda rhi thi nautankita.”

One of the users said, “Ankita same for you grow up without using Sushant's name.”

Meanwhile, talking about Pavitra Rishta 2.0, the show is a sequel to Ekta Kapoor’s hit daily soap of the same that was released in the early 2000s. The show featured Ankita Lokhande and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead roles.

Reportedly, Shaheer Sheikh of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke is in the talks to play the role of Manav in the sequel.
