For the first time since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Ankita Lokhande for the first time posted a picture calling SSR the ‘Child Of God.’ After ending his life on June 14 by hanging himself to death at his Bandra Abode, Sushant Singh Rajput has left the entire nation mourning over the loss of one of Bollywood’s finest actors. As it’s been a month since SSR left for heavenly abode, Ankita posted a picture from her puja room with a diya surrounded by a white flower.

Soon after Ankita posted a picture praying for the peace of SSR, her close friends and colleagues from the Television fraternity are sending her love and strength in abundance. Commenting on her picture, Yuvika Chaudhary wrote, “God bless you always,” while Asha Negi, Rashami Desai, Aparna Dixit send love to the actress. After becoming a household name with Pavitra Rishta, Sushant Singh Rajput fell in love with his co-star Ankita Lokhande. The duo dated for almost 6 years before calling it quits.

After SSR was laid to rest peacefully on June 15 at Vile Parle’s crematorium, Ankita was snapped entering Sushant’s house to pay her last respect and meet the actor’s family. The actress looked devastated while sporting a white kurti and pyjama.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty too penned a heartfelt tribute. Sharing a couple of unseen pictures with SSR, Rhea wrote, “Still struggling to face my emotions.. an irreparable numbness in my heart. You are the one who made me believe in love, the power of it . You taught me how a simple mathematical equation can decipher the meaning of life and I promise you that I learnt from you every day. I will never come to terms with you not being here anymore. I know you’re in a much more peaceful place now. The moon, the stars, the galaxies would’ve welcomed “the greatest physicist “with open arms.”
