Ruby is now back to work and is again leading a normal life. What more? Well, she has started living with hubby Amit again. You may recall, we had told you that the couple is reconsidering divorce and reconciliation is possible. Now, Amit Tandon, while talking to Mumbai Mirror has said that the couple is living together like a family with their 7-year-old daughter, Jiyana. They are giving their marriage a second chance and as of now are great friends.

“Ruby is slowly getting back to work. She has unbelievable strength, I would have gone mad if I was in her place. Our relationship is still work in progress, but we are friends again, at least we know we can depend on each other. We are living together as a family and I’m glad I get to see my daughter every day.” Amit told the tabloid.

Back in August 2017, Ruby had been put behind bars as certain DHA (Dubai Health Authority) officials had alleged that she had threatened a few government officials there. Her ordeal ended in Sep 2018 and the dermatologist flew back to the US to her mother instead of coming to India, at that time.

The incident has helped the couple in coming together as it was at this difficult time when they realised what strength they give each other. Talking about the same,  Amit told Mirror, “The difficult time helped put things into perspective. There were a lot of upheavals in my life and it was difficult to explain to my daughter, Jiyana, who is seven, what was happening. In a way, I felt guilty for the situation she had to face. I still remember her crying through the night when Ruby was away. We suffered serious financial losses, but all this has only made us stronger. The legal system in Dubai is not easy to work around. We got a court hearing after over 10 months.”
