Aradhana Sharma, who has been a part of some popular reality shows like Boogie Woogie, Dance India Dance and Splitsvilla, had to struggle a lot to become an actor. She finally got a chance to show her acting skill, last year when she got to play a part in Sony SAB's Aladdin- Naam Toh Suna Hi Hoga. Aradhana, who essayed the character of Sultana Tammana in the show, is now gearing up for the release of her next web series.
Sharing her initial journey with us Aradhana said, "In the beginning, I have done three reality shows Boogie Woogie, DID and Splitsvilla but I have that craze of acting, but it was difficult to find work. I have listened a lot about my face that I don't have that kind of face, you look like this, you look like that. So, I started thinking negative but my mother and sister always stood by me. My career started in lockdown and I'll never forget this. I got Aladdin, then another web series, which has not released right now and that's Atrangi office and then I have done a short film with Ajay Gehi sir. So, I am getting in touch with good people who really appreciate talent. If I talk about this industry, then it has both white and black side- it depends only on us how we tackle it. I am learning new things and it feels amazing." ALSO READ: TV Actress Meera Deosthale: 'Struggle Never Stops In Showbiz'- EXCLUSIVE
Then she shares her point of view on the favoritism that prevails in the industry, "Yes, I have faced it. I feel like one should take people on the basis of talent. They are not even giving a chance to new people. I feel so proud after seeing my journey that whatever i have today it's because of my hard work. I don't support things like starkid and all." The advice that Aradhana gave to the people who are going through the tough phase of their life is, "I would really like to say that just be good with your intentions, then only you will meet good people and will get good work. You have started then don't feel like you can't do it- just be faithful towards your talent, never give up. It's life- ups and downs will be there."
