Actress Akanksha Puri, whom we saw playing Goddess Parvati on Vignaharta Ganesha, recently played Krishna devotee in her latest song 'Hare Krishna Hare'. The song is extremely special for Akanksha as she has taken inspiration from her Ex's mother for her portrayal. Though the actress is not in touch with her but she did not forget to credit her for it.
Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Akanksha said, "Hare Krishna Hare song is very special for me as it’s my dedication to my ex's mother!! She is a Krishna devotee and all that I know about Lord Krishna is because of her !! I have not been a Krishna follower nor anyone in my family, I didn’t know much about Lord Krishna till I met her. I was very close to her, we used to talk for hours everyday, we shared a special bond, she use to tell me Vrindavan stories, she narrated so many Krishna stories to me, the faith that I have in Krishna now and the reason I could do justice to this song is only because of her. The Chandan tilak that I have on my forehead in the song is exactly what she used to wear on her forehead, I tried to copy that too."
