A story in a leading newspaper today spelt out that Kapil Sharma had to cancel his Shah Rukh Khan-Anushka Sharma-Imtiaz Ali shoot for The Kapil Sharma Show (aired on Sony) and rush to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, because he had fainted on the sets.
Inquires by SpotboyE.com at 4 30 pm this evening reveal that Kapil did not rush to the hospital on Friday night.

An official from Kokilaben Ambani Hospital told us, "We don't have any records that Kapil Sharma came to us for any treatment last night."
We were still wondering if the official was bound by ethics to not reveal the patient's name, when a source called us to say that Kapil Sharma has just walked out from his building in Lokhandwala and headed to General Studios in Mira Road. We wondered what Kapil was going to shoot in General Studios.

We drove out to General Studios to check what Kapil was up to. And lo! He was sitting there getting dressed up to shoot for his upcoming movie Firangi!

Gosh! Even if Kapil did get a check-up done at Kokilaben Ambani Hospital and the hospital wanted to keep his visit private- or even if he went to some other hospital, we wonder how he got well so soon and managed to get so much energy to look fresh and chirpy on his film's shoot with not even a day's rest.
Should we give him the benefit of doubt that the Firangi shoot was a commitment that he had to fulfill, an act that he had to carry out?
All said and done, we pray that Kapil gets Shah Rukh, Anushka and Imtiaz on his show sometime soon. Else, it's only his loss. The Kapil Sharma Show has never been the same in content and TRPs after the mid-air brawl between Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover on March 16.

For those who've come in late, Kapil made Shah Rukh wait for at least 2 hours at the Filmfare rehearsals, which was extremely unprofessional and Salman (rightly) took offence to it. Time that Kapil sorts out his life a bit. And get well soon, Kapil. Another source tells us that this was the third time you fainted at your work station!
