Salman Khan is returning to Dus Ka Dum after 9 long
years. During the launch event of the show held last night, the superstar
revealed that he enthusiastic but slightly anxious as well.
“This was my first show on television. So, there is a
different kind of attachment. And when Singh sahab (N.P. Singh, CEO, Sony
Entertainment Television) asked me to do the show, I agreed. Since the show
will air after a long gap, I am waiting to see whether people will accept me or
not. We are all very nervous here," he said.
During the course of the conversation, when NP Singh was
asked whether Ranveer Singh or other actor was approached to host it in
between, he said, “There wasn't any such plan of approaching other actors. We
waited for nine years for Salman because he was busy with his work. Since he is
available now, we took him onboard.”
“Yes, it's a fact that they didn't think of doing this
show with anybody else. They could have done it with somebody else but
didn't," Salman continued.
The superstar was also asked about the format of the show
and what new can the audience expect. Salman said, “Makers came to me and said
that it is a lot bigger and an interesting show this time.. and the procedure
for asking questions will also be different."
We can’t wait for the show to begin! Can you?
