Following her divorce from Naga Chaitanya, the actress was diagnosed with myositis and owing to the unfortunate development she has been on a medical break from her work. Although, she has been actively updating her fans via social media. Now, during a recent interaction, Sam revealed that her skin suffered a lot due to the excessive amount of steroid shots, which she took for treatment of her autoimmune disease, Myositis.

During the Q&A session, Samantha was complimented by a fan for her clear skin, however, her honest response to the same will leave you heartbroken. The 36-year-old replied that her skin suffered a lot due to the excessive amount of steroid shots, which she took for treatment of her autoimmune disease, Myositis.
The fan asked Samantha, "How is your skin so clear?" Responding to the same, she revealed that her skin is not clear and she has been using a filter. She said: "It's actually absolutely not. Chinmayi Sripada is going to fix that, she promised. She's going to make my skin glossy. Actually, because of this issue, I had to be on so much of steroids, I actually had to do a lot of steroid shots so it really, really messed up my skin, gave me a lot of pigmentation. So no, this is a filter guys."
Incidentally, Samantha was seen sitting at a restaurant as she answered to her fans' queries. The actress was seen dressed in an olive-green tank top, and she flaunted her bob haircut.
