The news of his tragic demise was confirmed by Production Controller and producer, NM Badusha on social media. He announced the passing away of Kazan in his Facebook post. Badusha posted a photo of the late actor as he expressed his heartfelt condolences.

Kazan Khan began his career in 1992 with the Tamil film Senthamizh Paattu where he played the role of Boopathy. He was featured in several blockbuster movies in Tamil. The late actor was best known for playing villain roles in Tamil films like Kalaignan, Sethupathi IPS, Duet, Murai Maman, Aanazhagan, Karuppu Nila, Varnapakit, The King, The Gang, CID Moosa, Dreams, The Don, Ivan Maryadaraman, Mayamohini, Rajadhiraja, O Laila O, and many more.
In 1993, Kazan ventured into the Malayalam industry and made his debut with Sangeeth Sivan’s Gandharva, which was headlined by actor Mohanlal.
