Popular Telugu actress Gayathri aka Dolly D Cruze, who is known for her stint in the web series 'Madam Sir Madam Anthe', has passed away in a tragic car accident. According to several media reports, the actress was returning home with her friend Rathod, who was driving the car when they met with a horrifying accident in Hyderabad's Gachibowli area. Gayathri was 26. The news of Gayathri’s tragic demise has sent shockwaves across the South industry and left her fans devastated.
As per a Bollywoodlife report, Gayathri, who is also known as Dolly D Cruze on Friday night was traveling to her home after Holi celebrations when this fatal car accident took place. Her friend Rathod was driving the car but suddenly he lost control of the car and the vehicle hit a divider on the road and overturned. He also died in the accident.
While Gayathri was declared dead on the spot, Rathod was immediately rushed to the nearby hospital. However, doctors could not save him owing to his injuries. Reportedly, there was another 38-year old woman, supposedly a pedestrian. She was caught underneath the vehicle when it crashed and overturned. It is being said that the woman, too, died because of the accident.
Gayathri rose to fame with her YouTube channel called Jalsa Rayudu. She often used to share her photos on social media. In a view of her social media popularity, the late actress got an opportunity to work in the web series, ‘Madam Sir Madam Anthe.’ She had also appeared in several short films.
