Allu Arjun’s classic hit, Sarrainodu completes 5 years today, to celebrate his journey, the actor took to his Instagram handle and posted a BTS from the sets of Sarrainodu. The actor praised director Boyapati Srinu, his leading ladies, cast members, technicians, and the whole team for giving him an unforgettable movie of his career.
Sarrianodu which released on 22 April 2016 collected ₹127.6 crores at the box office. Another reason for the film being special for the actor, as it was produced under his father, Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts. The 38-year-old actor played a vigilante in this intense action drama movie. The music of the film was scored by S. Thaman. Posting the picture of fun times, he wrote, “5 years of #Sarrainodu. A landmark film in my career. The picture has Allu Arjun laughing along with director Boyaoati and other crew members. The actor was very grateful to play a simple village guy character which created a rage among his fans. The audiences showered him with immense love and praise. Allu wanted his fans to acknowledge the work of the crew who take care of things behind the camera. His humble and down-to-earth gesture shows his real-life heroism too.
Allu Arjun is currently awaiting the release of Pushpa, directed by Sukumar. The film has actress Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil playing in the lead.
