Pan-Indian star Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who recently resumed working for her upcoming project Citadel starring Varun Dhawan, took the time off from her busy schedule to visit a temple. Ahead of the release of her movie Shakuntalam, the actress was spotted at Tamil Nadu’s Palani Murugan on Monday. Fans have taken to social media to share pictures from her visit.

For the unversed, it was in October last year that the actress had opened up about being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called Myositis. She is currently receiving a monthly-session treatment called Immunoglobulin Therapy (IVIg). She had taken a break from being in the public eye a while back, when reports started suggesting that she has been dropped from many of her upcoming projects, which turned out to be false.

On the work front, Samantha will be seen in the mythological drama Shakuntalam, which focuses on the daughter of Menaka and Vishwamitra, the first abandoned child in human history, Shakuntala, her fight for her love King Dushyanta and the repercussions she faces because of the same. She also has Citadel, Kushi alongside Vijay Deverkonda and Arrangements Of Love.
