Actor Allu Arjun's Pushpa-The Rise Part-1 has been delayed by five months. The film, originally slated for an August 13, 2021 release, will now release in theatres on Christmas 2021. The film will hit screens on December 25 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa an out-and-out action entertainer also features Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, and Ajay Ghosh.
Revealing a new poster from the film, the actor took to Twitter to make the announcement. He wrote,"Pushpa – The Rise to release in five languages this Christmas.” Allu Arjun's Pushpa is on number one on the list of most anticipated Telugu movies on the digital platform. The film revolves around red sandalwood smuggling. The actor's fans are overwhelmed and thrilled with the announcement. It is incredible to see the love of fans towards Allu Arjun.

The star is who is famous for churning out romance, charm, and rage on the screen will be seen in a never before avatar in this thriller action entertainer. The introductory video of Pushpa Raj which was released on the actor's birthday created a huge buzz in the industry. The film also marks Allu Arjun and director Sukumar's third collaboration this time. Previously this duo had done movies such as ‘Arya’ and ‘Arya 2’.
